Community Emergency Plans

Preparing your community for the worst is something that not all parish, town or county councils think about.

Producing a Community Emergency Plan (CEP) helps form your community’s response to a particular incident.

Having your CEP prepared helps your emergency planning team know where to go and what to do as soon as the time comes for it to be actioned.

We are able to work with your emergency planner, resilience support team, CEP Lead to help produce and keep your plan up to date.

Voluntary Sector Engagement

Many local authorities struggle with incorporating the voluntary sector into their emergency plans.

With over 10 years of community resilience and voluntary sector teams we can assist you with bringing them into the fold.

Voluntary teams have a wide range of equipment, skills and knowledge that can be a great asset to many local plans.
Why not involve them to make things easier when the worst comes.

Training Exercises

Knowing your emergency plans work can be an enormous relief.

A lot of the time this is unknown until your plans have to be put in to use.

Holding annual training exercises of different scenarios can be a great way of deploying your plans and assets. Creating emergency scenarios is a great way to see your responders and plans come in to action.

We can be on hand to produce and run a wide range of tabletop exercises designed to your communities.

Using a wide range of scenarios and responders we can get you thinking about your community response.

As well as advance support we are also able to supply teams and equipment that can be deployed at short notice for community emergencies.

Emergencies are increasing in frequency and intensity around the globe. The likelihood of long-term and short-term disruptions such as heatwaves, floods, and other extreme weather events exacerbated by climate change is also increasing.

Community Resilience Hubs are a way of helping encourage, support, guide and equip.

Equipment Surveys

Our equipment surveys are great for keeping your asset registers up to date.

All equipment will be logged in specialism categories. If required all equipment can be coded for ease when logging a fault or taking off the run.
